The MalleoTrain® Plus active support improves ankle stability and safety.

MalleoTrain® Plus works by the same mechanism as a functional adhesive bandage. The reinforcement of tactile skin irritation increases unconscious movement control of the ankle joint during movement. The strength of the strap can be adjusted continuously using the Velcro fastener without restricting normal motion planes. The pads, which are connected medially and laterally, are surrounded by a figure-8 strap that improves stability. The benefits of the support are particularly evident in the prevention of injuries and the rehabilitation of already injured joints.

Indications for use

• Chronic, post-traumatic and postoperative soft tissue irritations in the ankle area.
• Treatment that allows early release of a sprained ligament in the upper or lower ankle joint.
• Weakness of the ligaments.
• Supination prevention, especially in sports.
• Postoperative rehabilitation.
