Bauerfeind ViscoHeel

The soft ViscoHeel heel cushion helps relieve acute to chronic heel and ankle pain, providing immediate pain relief. It absorbs impact forces on the ankle, knee and hip, relieving pressure on each part of the body.
A heel cushion can therefore be very useful in cases where the cause of the pain is found above the heel and not below it - e.g. with achillodynia or Haglund's deformity. Achilles tendonitis can heal faster when the heel cushion is used in a closed shoe. It offers partial relief in Haglund's deformity. The viscoelastic heel cushion provides an anatomical fit and adapts optimally to the shape of the foot and shoe.
