Sorbact® gel dressing is a hydrophobically treated acetate silk impregnated with hydrogel. The dressing does not contain any medicinal substances, natural rubber or resin.

Indications
All types of dry and covered wounds. Also suitable for the treatment of skin graft sites.

Behavior at the wound
The hydrogel of the Sorbact® gel dressing strongly moisturizes the dry wound surface, softens and loosens the covering surface and soothes wound pain. Hydrophobic microbes, pus and dead tissue that cause inflammation bind to the surface of the dressing and are removed from the wound when the dressing is changed. The Sorbact® gel dressing can be cut and the dressing should only be placed on the wound area. It must not be in contact with the healthy skin surrounding the wound. The covering dressing is a polyurethane film. The Sorbact® gel dressing is disposable.
