Sorbact® tape is made of cotton gauze. The dressing does not contain any medicinal substances, natural rubber, resin or resin derivatives.

Indications
For the treatment of deep exuding wounds, e.g. deep cavity, fistula-like wounds. Effective infection prevention and treatment. Also suitable for the treatment of superficial yeast infections of the skin.

Behavior at the wound
Hydrophobic microbes, pus and rejected dead tissue bind to the Sorbact® surface and are removed from the wound when the dressing is changed. The dressing does not leave any residue on the wound, it does not decompose, gel or break, but can be safely removed from the wound in one piece. The tape can be cut, but the cut ends should always be left outside the wound. Sorbact® tape is disposable.
