Sorbact Haavatyyny 10x10cm

The surface of the Sorbact® wound pad is made of hydrophobically treated acetate silk. The absorbent layers are made of viscose polyester. The dressing does not contain any medicinal substances, natural rubber, resin or resin derivatives.

Indications
All types of moderately to heavily exuding superficial wounds, e.g. diabetic wounds, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers or complicated surgical wounds. Also suitable for use as a second dressing in the treatment of deep exuding wounds. Effective wound infection prevention or treatment. Secured with skin tape, polyurethane film, gauze or mesh dressing. The dressing can be cut, but in this case the cut edge should be closed, e.g. with skin tape.

Behavior at the wound
Hydrophobic microbes, pus and rejected dead tissue bind to the Sorbact® surface and are removed from the wound when the dressing is changed. The dressing does not leave any residue on the wound. It can be cut, but the cut side should be closed with, for example, skin tape. The Sorbact® wound pad is disposable.
