Orliman IC-40 -kyynärpään immobilisaatiotuki

Orliman IC-40 is an elbow brace with a spatula that keeps the elbow joint extended. The brace is used in situations where elbow movement is to be prevented and the arm is kept in a straight position. The product is suitable for both the right and left arm. The brace is intended for immobilizing the elbow joint in an extended position.

The inner surface of the support is made of soft terry cloth. The outer surface is made of breathable honeycomb fabric and velour. Rigid aluminum blades on the back and sides stabilize the elbow joint. The support is closed with adjustable Velcro straps.

Size selection

Measure the circumference of the elbow from the center of the elbow joint with the arm at approximately a 90-degree angle.

Size 1: circumference 22–27 cm, support height 34 cm
Size 2: circumference 27–32 cm, support height 35 cm
Size 3: circumference 32–37 cm, support height 37 cm

Wearing and use

Place the brace around the arm so that the aluminum blades run behind and to the sides of the elbow joint. Close the Velcro straps evenly. The brace should stabilize the elbow without restricting blood circulation, causing excessive compression, or sagging of the skin.

Discontinue use and check the fit of the support if numbness, coldness, discoloration, increasing pain or skin irritation occurs in the hand.

Washing and maintenance

Hand wash at a maximum of 30°C with a mild detergent. Close the Velcro straps before washing. Before washing, check the manufacturer's instructions to see if the aluminum spatulas need to be removed.
