The Orliman C-47 is a shoulder and arm positioning orthosis that maintains the shoulder in 90 degrees of external rotation and slight abduction. The manufacturer's stated uses include rotator cuff repair surgery, endoscopic treatment of Bankart lesions, soft tissue repairs, and physician-prescribed support after shoulder dislocation or subluxation.

The breathable honeycomb material promotes air circulation. The included exercise ball allows for light exercise of the fingers and hand while wearing the orthosis.
