Stack splint for fingertip joint

The Orliman Stack finger splint is a skin-colored polypropylene splint that surrounds the fingertip and supports the fingertip joint in the extended position.

The top of the spatula leaves the nail exposed. The middle joint of the finger remains free, so its movement is not restricted in the same way as the movement of the tip joint.

The intended use is related to injuries to the extensor tendon attachment point of the finger and situations where the distal joint must be kept extended. The assessment of the injury, the position of use of the splint and the duration of use are the responsibility of the healthcare professional.
