The Gastrock walking stick is a height-adjustable aluminum stick with a built-in ice spike. The spike can be deployed on slippery surfaces and returned to the stick using a spring mechanism.

Using an ice pick

Only use the ice spike on slippery outdoor surfaces. Return the spike before going indoors. The metal spike can slip on hard, smooth indoor floors.

Before use, check the ice pick mechanism, the height adjustment lock, and the condition of the rubber on the pole head.
